About
Peta is a platform dedicated to curating architectural resources for students in an era of unprecedented digital abundance. Echoing Borges’ Library of Babel, the vast accessibility of information paradoxically leads to a sense of disorientation; where the challenge is not merely acquiring knowledge but discerning what is meaningful.
Unlike esteemed repositories such as Socks Studio and Drawing Matter, Peta distinguishes itself by foregrounding experimental student work and amplifying Asian architectural literature, which remains underrepresented in global architectural discourse.
The name Peta —meaning ‘map’—draws inspiration from the Journal of the Federation of Malaya Society of Architects in the 1950s, once a vital repository of architectural knowledge. Today, Peta reimagines that spirit as a digital palimpsest for a new generation.
